Time passes so quickly... and believe me, the last weeks have been pretty hectic for me.
Thanks to feedback from players and reviewers, I've implemented a lot of little things to make the game even better. These are new icons, wording changes and rules clarifications. The hero card modifications are well underway and the initial redesigns have exceeded my expectations. The design of some of the cards also got a slight update, and there's a lot of gorgeous art on the way that you voted for in the stretch goals. Check some upgrades.
Several people have approached me to see if they can still "buy" Kinghill somewhere, since they missed the kickstarter. Yes - there is a late pledge "preorder store" open for you to order the game.
The main priority, however, was to get the pledge manager ready for all of you, backers. I'm currently fine-tuning the last formal things like review and testing. If all goes well, the pledge manager will open this/next week.
As I announced before, I chose BackerKit. This allows me to book your payments in advance, but charge your card much later. This is very important due to the worldwide shipping crisis, which gives me time to try to find better ways and a cheaper option for you.
As soon as I launch the pledge manager, I will inform about it in a separate update, including all the details, so please stay patient.

One of the quests was to collect as many likes as possible on BGG. For reaching 139 likes on BGG you have contributed another back story from the world of Kinghill. This time we're looking at the Dwarf Arbiters. You can read about them here.
I've been playing around with the idea of doing legendary buildings full art style for a while now. And since all the illustrations are done from scratch, it's a good time to do it. What do you think? Do you like this full art direction for the Legendary buildings?

I originally wanted to say a special thank you to some of the people who accompanied me during the first campaign and gave me a lot of valuable advice. But that would mean that I would forget some of you, because there are just too many people who helped me. Thank you to everyone I have been in contact with over the last few months who have been willing to give me advice and share their experiences.
By reaching the 40k milestone, you've triggered an avalanche of rewards and little things that come into play. Let's take a look at them.
Quest 6 - Reaching 40k and reaching 1000 backers. I guess you won't be mad if Igive you credit for the 1000 backers :)
So all in all, we managed to get 4 new cards into the game + I offered an extra help card! Here they are!

40K unlocked
Scripted solo scenario is basicaly one-time scripted automata, which you can try to beat. This could be also showcase for the community, to make new content for other solo players.
The extra content will include several cards that you can optionaly use for play. They are currently in the testing process. Their purpose is to reduce game time and offer an alternative way to win.
Upgraded Unit art won and I am very happy about it. I'll be sure to keep sharing the new art in future updates, so you have something to look forward to. In addition, one extra unit card will be added to the game!
In fact, there's a huge number of things going on right now around the campaign that need to be done and that I need to start working on. Most of this thankfully doesn't concern you so I've tried to write up what will be relevant to most. As it stands, I will be happy to answer any questions as best I can. I have opened a late-pledge for latecomers. What's the deal? It's basically a small form of "eshop" for people who missed the campaign and can still pre-order the game afterwards.
If you have already backed on kickstarter (any amount $1-249), the late-pledge does not affect you in any way, you are not confirming anything in it, nor are you buying anything!!!
Late pledge is available on the main project page. Since it's my first time setting everything up, there is some probability that not all shipping fees will be set to 100%, if you find something wrong, just email me and I will check it.
REPEAT - If you backed on kickstarter, the late-pledge shop does not apply to you!

2. PLEDGE MANAGER
In a few weeks all backers will get an invitation to the pledge manager.
For now I'm planning for late December/January, but it could be a bit earlier or later.
The invitation will only come to people who backed in some way on kickstarter (any amount), it doesn't apply to people who late-pledged the game in point 1), they handle everything through the late-pledge shop.
I'll point out the opening of the pledge manager especially in the update as well.
In the pledge manager you will fill out a survey and be let into the Kinghill preorder eshop.
Here you will already get a credit equal to what you paid on kickstarter. You can choose what you want to order (even multiple copies) and throw in addons. Everything is calculated, you enter the address and pay what is needed, including shipping.
Details: The amount will be booked on your card until the pledge manager closes, which will be a few months from opening. I will inform in updates in advance. Once the pledge manager closes, you will no longer be able to change your order and then the amount will be charged from your card (I need to confirm this again, and I will update about this as well)
